Any list of ROMO bitches has to begin with Rose Farms Blackberry Buff L ROMO. She is the foundation of Boondox Longhairs and is behind virtually every Dachund in our kennel today. Although she was basically unshown due to a tail injury, she managed to make a great difference in our longhairs. She had a great rear with the shortest of hocks when LHs normally did not have good rears; she had a beautiful head and front nicely set under herself with a great layback. Best of all, she passed on her good points. Her daughters and her niece's (CH Rose Farms Country Girl L ROMX)daughters provided the magic cross that were waiting to be bred to her grandson PJ. Her influential litters were sired by either CH B's Javelin de Bayard ROMO and CH Gerolf das Zwerglein L ROMO.

CH Boondox Emma v Walmar L ROMO (CH Gerolf das Zwerglein L ROMO ex Rose Farms Blackberry Buff L ROMO) was the dam of the All Champion "P" litter (PJ, Pumpkin , Possum and Pandemonium, who produced so well for Sidney Stafford). She also was the dam of Yorktown, who produced some very important brood bitches for us and others, and Quicksilver who was yet another of our ROMX dams.
Emma finished quickly with Specialty majors and BVs over Specials and her "pawprints are all over our current pedigrees and many other top breeders' pedigrees as well.

CH Rose Farms Orchid v Boondox L (CH Gerolf das Zweglein L ROMO ex CH Rose Farms Country Girl L ROMX) was the first in a long line of Dachshunds we have shared with Martha Grantham of Alabama. Rikki was a sweet girl and an invaluable producer with her most famous products being Shoney and Treasure and they both were about as near our ideal as we have yet produced.

CH Rose Farms Zesabel v Boondox (CH B's Javelin de Bayard ROMO ex Rose Farms Blackberry Buff L ROMO) was the first Boondox Longhair DCA winner, but what makes her record even more remarkable is that she herself went on to produce FOUR more DCA WD/WB winners(Indigo, Kodiak, KK and Madge) plus two more AOM winners (Giggles and Kismet). I feel that this is a noteworthy achievent !

No mention of ROMO Boondox bitches should fail to note CH Boondox Umbra au Liebe L ROMO. She was the foundation for Cheryle Snedaker-Sims' Dachshire Dachunds and currently is the Titleholder for producing the most LH campions. She was sired by CH Boondox Yorktown L (CH Lostdogs Black Bart ROMO ex CH Boondox Emma v Walmar ROMO)and out of CH Rose Farms Boondox Essence L ROMX (CH Boondox Panama Jack ROMO ex Rose Farms Taking a Chance). I will add a picture of this lovely bitch as soon as I get one from Cheryl.

Also on the roster of ROMO Longhair bitches is CH Rose Farms Delilah v Boondox ROMO (CH B's Javelin de Bayard ROMO exCH Rose Farms Blackberry Buff L ROMO), who was a littermate to our much missed Dolly. Although Delilah was whelped here at Boondox , she went back to Dee Hutchinson and produced many worthy Champions for her, including a BIS son.
I also have to mention the Panama Jack daughter, CH Mannequin's Candi Bar L, owned by Carol Spritzer and wally and Mary Jones. She has produced among others, the multiple DCA BV winner, CH Walmar's Jezebel v Spritzkof L
