CH Boondox Panama Jack as a Veteran
CH Boondox Panama Jack (CH Han-Jo's Xtra Copy L ex CH Boondox Emma v Walmar) produced so many outstanding examples of the Breed that it is hard to begin without fearing you are leaving some out!! On this page, I will try to picture a few of his most famous offspring...if you think I am overlooking someone, please let me know!!

CH Boondox Sting v Kanawha L (ex CH Bayard la Manon-Best of Breed at DCA from the classes!) was the first PJ sired Special to get a lot of attention. He finished with all Specialty wins and went on to be a multiple Best in Show winner and Westminster Group Placer. His career as a Producer was just as successful, being the sire of Fortunate Son, Forrest Gump, Polo, Walmar's Jazz Man and Walmar's Jasmine. He is the double grandfather of the Current winner, CH Walmar's Casanova.

CH Bermarg's Shoney of Boondox L (ex CH Rose Farms Orchid v Boondox L) was a dog who truly captured the imagination of Dachshund fanciers! He was an exciting dog to watch and had a personality that came to life in the Show Ring. He was a Westminster Group Placer, BIS Winner and three times BV at DCA, going BB there at 7 years of age. His biggest claim to fame as a producer was siring CH Boondox Jumping Jack Flash L who transformed the LH Variety in Australia.

Dual CH Boondox Chaps L (ex CH Rose Farms Hannelore Boondox ) also was a contender for National honors during his Specials career. Not only a Top Ranked Special, he was a Westminster Group placer, twice BV at DCA and and a Field Champion as well!! His impeccable front, beautiful head and neck and pleasing personality, all combined to make him one of PJ's most memorable offspring. I have to thank his co-owners, Roger and Debi Brum and Sherry Snyder for providing the Showcase for his Specials career.

CH Boondox Bermarg Treasure L (ex CH Rosa Farms Orchid v Boondox L) is a full sister to Shoney and was my All Time Favorite dog to show. Her effervescent personality and self confidence never let her have a "down" day and the best part was that she really was as good as she thought she was!!! She was equally successful in the whelping box and passed on her beautiful type and movement. I will always remember when I walked over to that ex-pen in that little town in Kentucky and picked her out. Thanks, Martha (and Rikki!!)

CH Mannequin's Candi Bar L is a full sister to the multi-BIS CH Mannequin's Bahama Bob L. While she had a successful Specials career, she has proven even more valuable as a producer, being the dam of several top winners, most notably CH Walmar's Jezebel v Spritzkof who has been twice BV at DCA. This picture is not the best, but is the only one I have of this lovely bitch.

CH Walmar's Quo Vadis L (ex CH Walmar's Hollyhochs v Boondox L) is also a DCA BV winner as well as a litter brother to Quiet Mistress (dam of Jazz Man and Jasmine), Quantum Leap (BIS winner) and QT who was the dam of CH Boondox Gadget L, foundation bitch of Ryan Horvath and Roger /Janis Marti's Homar Kennel. Quo Vadis (or Sam) was the sire of CH Boondox Ziggurat L , WD at DCA who currently is in Australia. As you can see this is another strong producing branch of the PJ family tree.

This is one of my favorite pictures of PJ winning Best Stud Dog at DCA. Behind him are CH Walmar's Kismet v Boondox and CH Boondox Bermarg Treasure. These three were very similar in outline and style and their dams were all bred here as well-Emma (PJ),Zesabel (Kismet) and Orchid (Treasure).

This is PJ winning the LH Stud Dog Class at DCA with Chaps (BV that year on the right) and Sting (Best Veteran and Award of Merit LH in the middle). I particularly love the look of these three "Stallions" as they sit for this picture!
