I was accused of neglecting my Smooths in my other website, so I will try to make up for that with this page. This picture is CH Boondox Ipsy Pipsy (CH Boondox Panama Jack ex Boondox Sweet Jane) winning BISweeps under Carol Spritzer at her first show at 6 months. She was also WB/BW later that day under Lynne Allen. That was an auspicious start to a great Show Career as she went on to several Group wins,multiple Best of Breeds and she also was twice BOS-V at DCA.

CH Rose Farms Choo Choo (CH Karstadt's Lionel ex CH Rose Farms Impatiens) was bred by Dee Hutchinson and Judy Anderson (yes, THAT Judy Anderson!). She was my first Champion, my first Group winner and my first DCA winner. When she finished, Dee sent me Rose Farms Blackberry Buff L as a gift. Those two bitches are behind all the Dachshunds bred here for the last 26 years. Thanks, Dee, for a great start.

CH Boondox Chuckie Bunyan (CH Moffett;s Georgi ex CH Rose Farms Choo Choo) is pictured winning RWD from the 6-9 class at DCA under Clara Jean Davis. I realize he is very immature in this picture, but I was ecstatic with this win, even though I had sold him already to Bill Magrum. Chuckie went on to a great career as a Show Dog and Producer with John and Nancy Thompson of Georgia Dachs.

Here is Dee with Choo Choo winning Best Brood Bitch at DCA. Her produce is CH Boondox Flora v Candach and owner Carl Holder, CH Boondox Fern Fahne and Andrea Spritzer, CH Moffett's Fallon v Boondox and myself and CH Boondox Chuckie Bunyan (Best Stud Dog here as well) and owner John Thompson.

CH Rose Farms Wild Card is shown winning BB from the classes at a Specialty. She was only about 15 pounds but was a mighty dog in a little package. She also would NEVER let another dog around me when I had her on lead, so I had to be VERY careful at the shows ;-))
She produced several winners for us, most notably Spanky and Darla.

CH Rose Farms FYC v Boondox (CH Braaehaus Top of the Town ex CH Rose Farms Wild Card), or Spanky as we called him was also RWD at DCA from the 9-12 Puppy Class.He finished his Championship quite easily here and was exported to South Africa to Bruce Jenkins and his Waydack Kennel. His style and elegance still is present in the photos I have seen of his descendants.

CH Moffett's Oona v Boondox (CH Moffett's Boondox Crockett-litternate to Chuckie-ex CH Moffett's Miss Flint) was a very successful Special I showed in the early Eighties. She was extremely elegant with that long,low outline I love. She was very representative of Russ and Thelma's dogs that came down from their Midas(littermate to Miss Flint). Her brother sired CH Sonrise's Martha on the right.

CH Sonrise's Martha (CH Moffett's Magnum v Boondox ex CH Houndhaven's Devil Woman)was another Smooth bitch that had a great Specials career with me. She was a multiple BB and Group winner. I sold her breeders the sire and then a couple of years later they showed up at a Specialty with Martha and proceeded to get last in the BBE Class. I took one look at her and bought her on the spot!! She was a big one,but combined elegance with her bone and substance. She is Ipsy Pipsy's grandmother, being the dam of Sweet Jane.

CH Boondox Xhilaration (CH Braaehaus Top of the Town ex CH Sonrise's Martha) is another one that I exported (and probably should not have!!) to Bruce Jenkins in South Africa where she produced several nice offspring. . She was a big, stylish bitch whose full sister, Boondox Sweet Jane, produced Ipsy Pipsy and Ipso Facto for me .

CH Boondox Xenia Onatopp (CH Laddland Hoot Owl ex CH Boondox Ipsy Pipsy) is the first Champion produced by IP. She was a multiple Specialty winner and finished quite handily due to her great style and presence. She is the much pampered pet of Steve, Marlene and Wade Kimmel.
