Treasure had so many virtues -evident here as a puppy!- that it is no wonder that her offspring have made an impact on the Breed. This page is an attempt to show where her influence is felt the most strongly.

CH Boondox Treasury Note L, sired by CH Walmar's Kodiak v Boondox L, was Treasure's first Champion. She was a delight to show and won several BV's over Specials on the way to her title. Unfortunately, due to a series of unforseen circumstances, we never got a puppy from her.

CH Boondox Fortunate Son L , sired by CH Boondox Sting v Kanawha L, was a very successful Special and Producer for his owners, Lynne Allen and Phoebe Phillips. He was a multiple Group Winner and Specialty winner-in fact, he won his first major at a Specialty, barely taking a step, but was absolutely beautiful stacked. Luckily, when he was lead broken, he kept that same lovely profile, moving or standing. His get number at least one Westminster BV winner and another multiple BIS winner , CH Whistlestop's Lucky Charm L who in turn sired the 2002 DCA WD . Sonny is residing now with Larry Sorenson in North Carolina.

CH Boondox Forrest Gump L , Sonny's littermate , finished quickly with all Specialty majors. He also was an owner-handled All-Breed BIS winner and was a successful Special for a number of years, but his true worth is becoming evident in the success of his descendants. His most famous son is probably BIS CH Walmar's Casanova, but ,at the 2002 DCA, Forrest was sire of WB Long, grandsire of RWD and BV Long AND WB Smooth. His absolute correctness shines through with or without coat.

American & Japanese FCI CH Boondox Polo L is definitely his mother's son. This was a repeat breeding of the Sonny and Forrest litter, also being sired by Sting. Luckily, the quality remained! He has several promising puppies that he has sired here at Boondox since his return from a two year stay in Japan. Be looking for Double Delight, French Lace, Faith and Fiona at the shows. They carry the Treasure "look" down into another generation.

CH Boondox Paulette L is Polo's littermate. She had some impressive wins on the way to her title with several BV's over Specials, Group placings and Best Bred By at DCA. Her son , DR Evil , has sired a couple of nice puppies here and we have a surprise in store for her next litter.

Who could resist this picture? Here are Sonny (left, sitting up), Fancy Free(also sitting up), CH Boondox Filigree L(second from right) and Forrest (right) as puppies in the ex pen with our Chihuahua,Flower, with some of the Basenjis in the background. I believe they are about 10 weeks old in this photo.

Treasure started her career by being undefeated on her way to her Championship, finishing in four shows over top competition. Here, she is pictured in her last appearance, winning Best Brood Bitch at DCA . Pictured are (from left to right)Debi Brum and Paulette, Mary Jones with Forrest, myself and the inimitable Treasure, Lynne Allen and Sonny, and Ann with Polo. That was quite a tableful of quality!!
