CH Boondox Panama Jack ROMO leads off any list of top sires
and he can boast of the quality of those well over 100 Champions. He was the first Dachshund to sire over 100 Ch's, but in that 100 are BIS winners, Westminster Group Placers, DCA winners and too many Specialty winners to count. His Top Producers have really left their mark as well with practically all top LH winners tracing back to him somewhere in their pedigree.

CH Boondox Sting v Kanawha L ROMO was a multiple BIS winner as well as Westminster Group placer. Sired by PJ ROMO and out of CH Bayard la Manon, BB at DCA from the classes, he carries on that legacy of style and beauty. Not used much as a young dog, his later litters consisting of the likes of Fortunate Son, Forrest Gump, Polo, Jazz Man and Jasmine really got people's attention. His descendants are really sweeping the last few DCAs and he has turned out to be PJ's most influential son. He is pictured above winning Best Veteran at DCA along with winning an Award of Merit at 8 years of age, shown by our good friend, Eric Henningsen.

CH Bermarg's Shoney of Boondox L ROMO also proved to be a successful sire, although his career as a producer was not as brilliant as his show career, due to some fertility problems. His greatest influence is perhaps felt in Australia where his import son, CH Boondox Jumping Jack Flash L, has had a major impact on the Breed down under.

CH Boondox Yorktown L ROMX(CH Lostdog's Black Bart L ROMO ex CH Boonodx Emma v Walmar ROMO)is the sire of CH Boondox Umbra au Liebe L, the current record holder for producing Longhair Champions, among many others. He was a multiple Group winner and contributed those short hocks and dynamite rear to many of his get. He is out of the same dam as CH Boondox Panama Jack. Over the years , it became obvious that his daughters became VIP (Very Important Producers). Besides Cheryl Sims' Foundation bitch, Umbra, his other daughters produced such winners as CH Pramada's Curmudgeon, Westminster Group Winner, among others.

CH Boondox Chuckie Bunyan ROMO (CH Moffett's Georgi ROMX ex Ch Rose Farms Choo Choo ROMX)was owned during his show and breeding career by John and Nancy Thompson. He was from Choo Choo's first litter and sired such notables as CH Choo Choo Sweetheart (DCA BV winner),my favorite CH Apothecary Black Rosie Rose ROMO as well as BIS winner CH Apple Hill's On the Rite Track.

CH Walmar's Kodiak v Boondox ROMO (CH Boondox Panama Jack ROMO ex CH Rose Farms Zesabel of Boondox ROMO) was a very successful sire for Bob and Ann Wlodkowski's Sleepy Hollow Kennel and sired the DCA BV Winner,CH Sleepy Hollow's Sundowner L, among many others. With his pedigree, his producing ability should not have come as a surprise.

Dual CH Boondox Chaps L JE ROMX was also one of PJ's best producing sons. His status as a much loved member of the Brum Household was more important than siring lots of litters. His puppies all seemed to share his easy going attitude and became integral parts of many Dachshund households along with finishing their Championships. He is shown here in his first appearance with Debi, winning BISweeps at Northern California Specialty.
